The residential neighbourhood of Olivais is a family friendly district, nestled between the Lisbon International Airport and the contemporary district of Parque das Nações. Inter-region trains in Portugal are comfortable, affordable and provide untouched, beautiful, scenic views when travelling locally.  There are also many local bus routes in the area, which run in and out of Olivais, as well as into the surrounding districts, especially the Parque dos Nações region which is a bustling business district.

Most traffic that passes through the area are from home owners in Olivais, as most of the busier highways and national roads go around this district, leading to no heavy traffic.

The Astoria International School and The Queen Elizabeth – Foundation School, are both located in the neighbouring district of Teresinhas, which is a mere 12-minute drive away.
